5/30/2022
Modular casework is so much more than a one-off investment. Modular casework has plug-and-play capabilities that keep your space functional for years. Explore the benefits of plug-and-play casework, key components of designing with casework, and new trends for finishes and materials.
Benefits of Modular Casework
Known for quick turnaround and installation, modular casework has incredible ease of design. Standard sizes BIM and Revit models, make designing for your space quick and easy. Cabinets are designed and constructed with built-in adjustability and changeability of components for flexibility and ease of replacement should damage occur. Precision manufacturing (to industry standards) means that each piece can be replaced or updated individually. Casework is cost-effective due to its reusability. It continues to pay for itself every time you reconfigure or move your cabinets. Our modular casework is even eco-friendly, made with recycled content where possible.
Key Components of Casework
Base Cabinets: Base cabinets are one of the fundamental units of modular casework. Our standard line of base cabinets can have doors, shelves, drawers, vertical slots, wheels, and sorters and offers hundreds of height, width, and depth variations. These pieces are the best value for the client. However, we can also manufacture cabinets precisely to any specification required by your project’s needs.
Wall Cabinets: Wall cabinets may be safely secured to base cabinets, islands, or consoles. We also have a rail and bracket procedure for securing them to the wall. They have the appearance of built-in furnishings. However, wall cabinets, like all casework, can be reconfigured and repurposed as needs change. There are many standard choices in hardware and finishes.
Islands: Islands can be built into a wall, used as stand-alone casework, or combined with our lockers to create mixed-use storage. Popular for the workplace, the mailroom, and pharmacies, modular islands are a central workplace for any use. Heights are easily adjustable to accommodate sitting or standing heights.
Finish and Materials Trends
Within our standard line of modular casework, materials, and finishes, you can create completely custom casework that allows you to design a project to your exact needs. Laminate finishes come in a variety of colors with solid, wood grain, and patterned finishes. Handles and tack board fabric are just two more elements that can be completely customized for your space.
Modular casework is a plug-and-play solution ideal for any workspace. From the office, the mailroom, hospitals & clinics to even the pharmacy, casework can be made to exact specifications.
